Jessica M. Lehman
Bloomsburg Attorney at LawJessica M. Lehman is a partner with the firm Hill, Turowski, James & Lehman, LLP. She is a graduate of Bloomsburg High School and received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Lycoming College. At Lycoming, she was an active member of the Beta Beta Beta, Phi Kappa Psi and Alpha Epsilon Delta honor societies.
Lehman attended Widener Commonwealth Law School. During law school she interned with the United States Department of Agriculture and volunteered with Mid-Penn Legal Services. She also started Widener’s chapters of the American Agricultural Law Association and Federal Bar Association.
Lehman has received the Outstanding Service Award and James S. Bowman American Inn of Court Award, SBA Representative of the Year and SBA Leader of the Year. She is the former Third Circuit Director for the Federal Bar Association. Lehman’s research on the history and constitutionality of the death penalty was published in The Federal Lawyer magazine. Lehman has also taught classes at Widener Commonwealth Law School and through the National Business Institute. In 2023, Lehman was admitted to practice in front of the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington D.C. Lehman was voted a Rising Star Super Lawyer in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Lehman is a Zone 4 Chair for the Pennsylvania Bar Association and President of the Columbia-Montour Bar Association and a licensed title agent with First American Title Insurance Company. She sits on a number of local boards. Lehman practices in the areas of commercial/residential real estate; agricultural law; liquor license transfers; divorce, custody, child support; and alimony; business formation and advising; estate planning (wills, power of attorneys and living wills); and estate administration.
